    Pheasant + S2 = dead bird + broken bumper :(

Had the displeasure to hit a bird today

My S2 came off better than the bird but the bird put up a fight cracking a fog lamp and removing/damaging the 3 front bumper inserts (see photo).

I managed to salvage the inserts and the part numbers appear to be as follows

    895 853 668A drivers side
    895 853 683B centre insert
    895 853 667E passenger side

Anyone got any going cheap/spare... or is it a dealer mega money, or even worse nla parts

    Brian

Sounds near identical to my dog incident.

Dealer parts are mega money if you can get them at all these days.

I'm sure people will have the parts lying about though.

Pretty sure the 90 ones are nla, as I remeber putting a lot of time and effort into repairing the bumper and inserts when I would have had the money to buy new if they existed Would follow that almost identical ones on the S2 would be too

Was a deer in my case and cost me fog, indicator, headlamp and wing.

nasty but at least you had something for dinner

I could do with a new set of those inserts anyway so be inteested if they are still available
