The disk I bought has the hardlock prog on it...

There were 14 files in total, if you give me a list of the files you have I have a look at what's on the disk and see...

I have a 'hardlock.exe' which I installed but it's showing the USB driver version as '0.00' which I'm assuming is because I don't have a USB dongle you would get with the normal version?

I don't know then... I just loaded mine on my lappy and the software did the rest..

I a'm on a wirless network so no dongle either..

i had problems with mine so i deleted it all and tried again, all i can get to work is skoda lol it says eror on last update, newer update impossible! grr any ideas???

Delete the temp files within the program files.

Once you have run the update you have to close the update prog and open the actual ETKA system and run the update.

I had to do this about 20 times...

Can't get the blooming hardlock.exe to work It says it has been blocked, I try to run as admin and no go, I fking hate windows!

Turn off your security software...

Ahh a quick gooooooogle and it appears 64 bit Vista and 7 won't load unsigned drivers, hence the hardlock not working, great, I only have 64 bit versions!

Has anyone found a way to make this work on a 64 bit system?

I was thinking about this... There is an option when booting vista, and presumably 7, that allows you to turn off driver signing, I noticed it while messing about with a work machine. I'll try it. I hope it doesn't work! I just bought a 32 bit version for this reason!!!

i have it working on 64 bit.

there are files to modify to get which version of the software you want to start. be it vw, audi, skoda, seat

the fiels i have are audi, seat, vw only no skoda.
