    ebay tuning kit

was scouting around ebay.de and found this. its got the turbo i want.
i would be interested in buying all the bits i need in one kit, that way everything should phsyically work together.
only thing is there seems to be no brand name on the rods or maniflold.
    what do ye think?

i know the rods. those are ok, but the manifold comes from the dark side.
      buy the second set.

Do these 'kits' represent much of a saving ?

All you need is bigger EM, bigger turbo, uprated rods (if going big torque), injectors to suit so I'd say that best prices can be had from specialists if you shop around.

The other thing is you will also need bigger intercooler to get the best of such an upgrade and also uprated fuel pump as well for big power levels. And then you need to get it all mapped properly so I dunno if these kits make much sense as its not like they include everything that is required.

i know what you mean, but its a start.
and a gt30r turbo is pretty expensive on its own without a wagner mani which normally cost €6-700, and you get injectors also.
as for the intercooler. personaly i'll be using two intercoolers as im using a spq grill on my urq, so hopefully once i dump the aux rad i might squeeze the second intercooler there.
Im using an alloy rad to compensate for the loss of the aux rad.
i also have a local fabricator looking at my AAN inlet manifold to see if he can modify it to squeeze it in so it not fouling my rad.
nothing thats worth doing is ever easy!!!!

Most of these kits are using fake Wagner replica manifolds, be warned. Buy direct from Carsten to be sure of manifold authenticity

                wow.
ya never know. i would have bought it hook line and sinker.
i guess it would'nt work out much more expensive buying everthing induvidually from genuine sellers, it just would have been convienent to buy it in one package.
                cheers for the tips guys

carsten does good stuff at good money.

why risk a hookey manifold and turbo to save very little when we have proven that wagner stuff is good.

price up a good intercooler kit for a jap car, not a **** one a good one and compare the price. wagner is good value. service is second to none.

For the sake of little extra hassle and postage with getting genuine bits from genuine sources at a fair price - I would much rather do that than go for one of these kits from any old 'eBay tuner' - that is not to badmouth them all as I am sure there are some good folk dealing there, but you just need to be real careful that you get what you paid for. Buyer beware is the term I think.

                      excellent. thats that settled so.
it makes more sence to go direct to wagner.
thanks for all the tips guys
