Anybody going to Download Festival in Donnington?

Havent been to Donnington since it was called Monsters of rock, showing my age i guess!

Last I was at Donnington was to see Ozzy - backstage passes too

Haven't been to a decent show since ACDC last year.

Only went to Donnington once, my first ever gig. 1988 Lineup: Helloween, Megadeth,Guns 'N' Roses,Dave LeeRoth,Kiss,Iron Maiden.

Saw AC/DC last summer in Punchestown. Great gig. They are playing the Friday night of Download. We were there 3-4 years ago. Excellent venue etc. Driving over this year for the spin.

Ozzy will make an appearance, I think himself and Sharon are part of the organisation of the festival. Who knows.

Baught tickets, and i usually go. But to be honest there is not enough METAL... too much old classic rock. so i sold my tickets this week and am going to ROCK AM RING instead!!

I think when AC/DC were playing they must have decided to go back 20 years for the lineup, looking forward to it now, never been to rock am ring, have you been before?
