Suggestions please!

My S2 will be up for sale soon (£3k if anyone is interested lol)
Anyway, after that I will be looking for a new car, and am struggling to choose what to get!
Budget will be 8k, it must be able to do or have the following:

4x4 or RWD (4x4 prefered)
Turbo charged
300bhp minimum!
Saloon or estate
NO JAP CRAP! (Yes, that mean NO Impreza's or Evos's etc)
Its got to be useable on a daily basis, so no old rotten Cossies Pete, been there done that!
Manual, no semi auto or tiptronic

Currently on the short list is a B5 S4 (with remap/Milltek/etc or hopefully can find a K04'd one when Im looking)

Im really struggling to find anything that fits my needs/wants, so over to you

you dont want jap, cant see an S60R being your bag so you may as well just go and get the ONLY choice. the B5.

maybe organise an "over the moon BBQ" for your mates so they can all see how happy she is with what you spent the extra on. a slightly newer slipper mobile.

perhaps she expects the 5k to go towards a golf tdi or the like?

I was waiting for the "mod the s2 with the money" comment! And yes, I have considered it, but its not what I want to do.
My last post could of been taken the wrong way due to my crap wording, I am NOT getting a new car to please her, not in ANY sense of that!
They are 2 seperate things, she doesnt like the S2, and I want something a bit newer/quicker.
She does'nt care what I buy, its my car.
I dont care what the MPG is, if I did I would be looking at a TDI. I can bike to work, or if I drive its only 2 miles each way, so not an issue atall

I prefer S2 looks to RS2, so would be no point in getting one, plus I would be a bit wary of one that cheap.

On a serious note though, one car that I've had my eye on for a while is a Renault Megane F1 R26, doesn't fit many of your requirements though and is a bit over budget. But it's supposed to be quite a machine!
