RS2 Aux. Radiator.

I need a new auxillary radiator for my RS2.
Audi dealer said they are on "back order" at the moment & over £300!!
Where else can i get one & at a better price in this country?

I've seen some on Ebay for an S2 but they look different to mine. The core looks shorter with longer pipes & a brace between them. Mine has a full length core with very short pipes & no brace.

Is the RS2 Aux Rad different to the S2?

Could be possible to get it recored not had the aux one done before but had the main rad done in a few cars.

S2 same as RS2. The ones you see on ebay are just sellers trying to pass them off as so.
They come from the like of the 7A, KV or NG.

Get yours recored. Should be in the region of £60 or there abouts.
Try www.yell.com to locate a radiator recorer near your location.

this can be done no problem, mine was about £60, make a point of ensuring that the mounts on the new core are the same as the old, mine were a different thread m5 v's m6 and so had to be modified

excactly as above, get it recored. i have done it twice on mine and works fine. Also the last time i made it slightly smaller to allow an extra air vent for the airfilter
