i cannot make what type it is. Holsets are efficient and have 360deg journal bearings. Very nice wheel design as well. I wouldnt use a bigger than HX35 on our engines though for a daily driver.

i tried HXsuper40 which is as big as a GT35 and its way too laggy

Looks like a H25 from what i can make out from the numbers, most probebly off a diesel motor..... cummins probebly!

looking at how bad the compressor housing is, hope your not just bolting it on!

if it is off a diesel it will be no good on your motor, have a look inside the exhaust housing, if the black soot is loose inside its a diesel and the exhaust housing is probebly huge with a small in comparison compressor........

Ancient baby! From the identifier i can see that it came from a British Leyland Olympian or Titan.
Because it is an older frame spare parts are a bit harder to find and normally a tad more expensive.
If you want to take it apart/rebuild here is a manual: http://issuu.com/dieselusa/docs/hols...owFlipBtn=true
        Service kit nr: 3545653

I can't find any partnr's for the wheels, so i don't dare to say how much it'll flow.

LOL class! bet it does 500sovs!

i made the same mistake with a supposed RS200 turbo on a big power cossie project once, sent it to turbo technics for a refurb and it turned out to be leyland bison, 1980`s truck!
still the car did 486bhp with it though.
cost me £800ish to get it refurb`d, wasnt impressed as they told me after they did all the work

Sounds about right for them I used to have a turbo technics converted sierra cosworth rep, that was not bad 300ish brake on a saab turbo.

Without the right hotsides the Holsets are rubbish. In order to run it you have to machine a Garrett/KKK/BorgWarner/Mitsubishi one or find a aftermarket version like Bullseye power does.

yes indeed. That way you may end up with a solution that is good enough for our engines and not be too restrictive at the top end as well.

or just use it as a boat anchor and buy a proper turbo.
