Engine is an ACK 2.8 30V from a '98 A4 running the American designed PES G2 supercharger system, individual coilpack conversion and because the power steering pump has no capacity to run the hydraulic brake booster, the brake servo is now pneumatic with the "bomb" removed.









Interior has every option available including full electric and heated Recaro front seats, cruise control, trip computer, aircon (soon to be upgraded to full climate control), premium sound system with amplified rear speakers and subwoofer and boot mounted cd changer through Delta head unit. other options include headlight wash and later A4 airbag sports wheel.

The power steering pump is a lot smaller and compact on the A4 engines and only runs the power steering system, there is no noticeable difference in steering feel compared to the tandem pumps used with hydraulic servos. The master cylinder bolts to a pnumatic servo from a 80 4 cylinder petrol or tdi model, the bolt pattern is the same on the firewall to mount it and links to the existing brake pedal without modification. The bomb is removed and the lines joined together except for the hardline that goes to the power steering rack, this is removed altogether and the connection at the rack is plugged with a brazed over male connector. If keeping the tandem pump, the pump's ability to pump fluid to the brake system is removed by removing the pistons and springs under both the large cross-head screws; I've done this to another V6 Cabriolet that uses the same pump as the S2.

The climate control swap has been in the planning stages for many months, I have all the components necessary except for a complete wiring harness as I will be creating my own from schematics I've put together by merging the manual A/C and early A4 climate wiring diagrams.
