Yeah, I came to the conclusion that it is not silicon at all. I tested it with my blowtorch lol and it melts where as the other silicon pipe I have just burns. The seller has decided to take it back and reimburse for all the postage costs and give me a length of real silicon hose, cant ask for more really.
I ended up buying some decent stuff from forge motor sport in Gloucester so I don't end up with the same thing happening again.
I'm glad I fitted the boost gauge a few days previous, nearly had a heart attack when I overtook a car and it shot up to 1.5bar of boost!!
