RS2 Factory Power Upgrade's ?????

Some time ago i was reading an old German motoring mag. & found an artical on RS2's suggesting you could order your "NEW RS2" with one of two possible power upgrades from the factory as a special order. The first one being the "350 kit". This kit is a modified/upgraded ecu giving 345bhp with the speed limter removed. The second "380 kit" upgraded in the same way but with a bigger turbo.
Can anyone confirm this? If it is correct, do you know of a car with a "genuine kit" fitted?

You can get 380 out of the stock RS2 turbo and a remap. Don't know about these "kits" sounds like a myth

These cars were not modified at the factory, they were simply modified by one of the well known tuning companies in Germany before the customer took delivery. Companies such as ABT, MTM and Oettinger to name but a few

Is it possible that the article was actually referring to some tuning house specialist like ABT?

The only factory upgrade option was bigger brakes - there were no factory power upgrades.
However at that time lots of tuning companies offered power upgrades and some of these were pushed quite heavily by Audi dealers. Here in the UK the Audi dealer Scotts of Sloane Square pushed the Nothelle upgrades which pushed the power up to 380hp and there are some magazine tests of these cars in Autocar etc. I think I have some in my extensive magazine collection of all the RS2 articles I could find.
