I Just got an Mot Certificate!

I know it is minor, but after last years debacle with a full set of fuel lines and a rear subframe refurb being required, I really was fearing the worst this morning.

Anyway after a wait of an hour I finally got a pass with only a few minor advisories. Not only that with my new (secondhand) cats it sailed through the emissions test first time too!

To say I am chuffed is an understatement. After spending two weeks flat on my back in a single garage sorting the mot failure items last year I was bricking it.

Roll of the rest of summer in a mint S2!

Corroded front subframe, low front pads, slight play in nearside front macpherson strut mount....

Less than 2000, so it bloody well ought to be okay....

Great news Steve, glad it's back on the road and you can enjoy it. I guess you must have sorted out your clutch problem.

Hi John,

No the clutch is still intermittent. It is always driveable, just sometimes the biting point is near the floor, others back up to where it should be higher up. I think it is old fluid and just needs changing. Will tackle it soon....

Other than that, I love it to death again.

I will be in about an hour. Off home at warp factor 9. (Or probably not given the state of the traffic down here. )

If I get one blast through 2nd, 3rd and 4th I will be doing well.
