going to fit my hoses over the next few days are makalor clamps worth using? if so which ones fit as i seem to remember that they are quite wide and might not get a proper seal or am i better sticking to jubillee clips? cheers.

I just did mine the other week and I used the original clamps, all still in good condition,
leak tested it after upto 1.5 bar with no probs.
But if they were all rusty I might of considered some bling ones :mischeif: -
Jubillee seal better imo as they are thinner and dont create a hump that can lead to a leak.
You can always double them up but if your tightening them up a lot then they usually only last one time.91 S2 coupé - RIP

I used the mikkalor style clamps on the turbo out, inter cooler in, cross member out and the hard boost pipe in, jubilees on the mark h mod, dv and tb hose. The mikkalor ones are too wide for the tb. I leak tested mine up to 30 psi a few times no issues.Current-2004 Impreza PPP wagon
