First time S2 buyer - Does this look any good?

as per the title really. I've been looking for a black coupe with black leather and this fits that description. the only thing that worries me is it was on pistonheads about 2 months ago, it dissapeard and now its back on? does it belong to anyone on here by any chance?

Also why would you want to part ex an S2 with a death trap e30 sport lol

I owned the coupe many years ago. Still running the same alloys. Had H&R springs and Koni shocks. No aircon.

I sold it in 2001 or 2002 with 107.000 miles.

It's only done 30,000 since then

are you sure the speedo hadn't broken i couldn't have an s2 just sat in a garage for that long.

I've not actually spoken to the owner yet. Need to sort out some money and travel arrangements first and don't want to waste his time if I can't make it all happen

Mine has only done 40,000 miles in 6 years.... The last two years it has done less than 4k miles. As long as the paperwork stacks up, all is good...

Similar thing with the one I just bought. The guy had the use of a works van as his everyday drive, and a superbike too. The s2 only got a short run every month or so, and so has only done 2k a year for the past 3 years. As long as the mots and service books match up, I wouldn't worry.

Based on the amount of miles I did last year in my S2, over 6 years it would of done 30k!
