Webb was VERY lenient towards the Dutch....

Holland should have been down to 8 men! And erm what part of the goal was offside? he was behind the man when the ball was played

Holland only have themselves to blame missed the best chance of the game 1-1 with the keeper

it's not all the fault of the referee, indeed the kick in the chest should have been red in the first half so we got lucky there. But some of the yellow cards where not neccesary, I thought he would have run out of yellow cards but it just kept going, must have had large pockets to keep them in.

Robben just had to make at least one goal out of the 2 where he was alone in front of the keeper.

It's a great shame that The Dutch team went out with such a negative attitude... With the quality of player they have they should have tried to play a better game of football...

Not just try to kick the Spanish all over the pitch... IMO

I would have been happy to see either team win (seen as the Germans & Argi's had already been beaten)... But I think the Spanish deserved it on the night... IMHO...

I agree with you the ball was intended to Iniesta on that pass...
hence it was defenetely in offside.......
But then again Robben should crying tears big as october cabbage on that "movingpenalty" that he kicked on Casillas foot......
On top of that far too many kicks from the Dutch......
That was not football.... more kickboxing......
The referee had a very hard match to deal with and the players did'nt help him much.
The risk was to put a couple of them (dutch) out...... and have the blame to had "ruined" a world cup final.... quite an high responsability....
Spain played anyway the best football in this cup and perhaps (surely imho) Italy the worse.
So well done Spain

It was a corner in stead of a goal kick at the other side of the pitch some seconds earlier.
But you deserve to lose if you can't finish it off earlier chances such as Robben's opportunities.
