new car!!! 20 valve 90 quattro

Just bought a 90 quattro 20 valve on a g plate.
Pink, formerly red, needds front wings and driver s door otherwise pretty good.
5 months MOT
"Apparently" had "race cams" and head work, although owner cant find paperwork to confirm this.
Stainless zorst, sounded lovely.
How many of these were made peeps?
Hoping to do a resto on it over my summer holiday (6 weeks should be enough!

not collecting till friday.want it done in less than 6 weeks if i can so it can get used.
been standing so will need brakes sorting, but a good clean and the panels is the main thing for now.
s2 replica is on ebay so that should bring some funds in when its sold, can t keep em all, not enough room!

just need an inlet manifold and i could get started

was one for sale at VAG fest at weekend dunno how cheap it was tho.

034 do a 7a turbo conversion at a VERY reasonable price, maby worth a look ans sell what bits tou have to fund it?!

Drove well apparently (had me mate drive it back, 3 miles only!) apart from a knocking under acceleration, reconed the engine had plenty of pull
Can t play with it this weekend tho off to Pro Drive in the morning to see if I can wreck their Lambo for them
NOt sure about the wheels yet (the 90, not the Lambo)
Needs a damn good clean inside and a mop session out.
We'll see how it progresses.
Anyone know how many of these made n left?
120k, MOT till end Oct , last owner 6 years and 6 miles since last MOT!

I ll be putting it back to road worthy and then selling it on, fun's in the doing
I know where there's a red avant too, will be knocking on about that next week if I get chance, 16 valve according to the reg
