I am off on a Crumball Rally this weekend for my mates stagger, just wandering of any of you guys are on it? It is France to Italy over three days, but dont ask me the route, I dunno! You buy a banger for £200 and try and get there!

Crumball??
Whats the deal, buy a cheap car (or cars) and just try and make it to the destination? is it a race or just for the heck of it? Were there many cars involved? Sorry for all the questions, I'd love to do one sometime, what sort of cost was it, can't have been too much?

Organised but not a 'race' as such, there are tasks to do if you wish but basically just get to the destination each day.
Costs were not that bad. I will let you know what they were when I work it out.
It was amazing fun though, well worth the £, and all three cars JUST made it over the finish, in true Top Gear Fashion! The Rover head gasket went on the last day, it kept overheating and cutting out, The Golf was fubared from the off, it sat at 35 or 85, nothing in the middle! The Audi developed an oil leak on the last day, needed a few top up stops!
There were about 100 teams/cars, we had three cars/ 10 folk.Comment
