just having a nosey at those chinese brembos....somehow i dont think they are made under license and they are 'tested' at 120dg centigrade - which performance calipers/discs and pads will operate consistently in thats space.....? Somehow i think they will be working at more like 350-500degrees on the decent run, not the time to find out that they don't seem to work so well

Wonder if anyone has bought one to compare them in terms of materials, quality, strength etc.

If you look at their profile on that Alibaba, they have 30 factories and yet employ 50-100 employees?!?!?!?!? physical address seems to check out on Google maps

That part number isn't a Porsche part number so they could be Audi parts but it doesn't look like an Audi number either so is most likely the Brembo number, see if there are any other markings on there.
I don't know if this helps or works!

@ Bon 3 at least the front ones will be easy to use for an upgrade. A real expert on these things will be along soon...

I'm sure they'd be ok for moderate tuning (a bit like the guy who copied the wagner manifold claimed recently) but for intensive use who knows. I'll drop you a PM.

@ Bon 3 well done for getting the photos sorted!!!

, it's interesting that the RS2 brakes didn't have a proper marking on them and hence the confusion, and all of the discussion about big reds / small reds etc etc.

Glad to help, I'm interested and usually the one asking the questions..

                  Yes, you ain't joking!
The confusion reigns supreme over this subject.
I was searching various sites and to be truthful, although lots of discussion on the calipers, no definitive answer.
I had all but gone with the Porsche 933 origin.
Only thing is I now owe him a few beers, as he appears to be right and me wrong- wagers !!!!!!!!
                  Cheers
