I sent MRC an email Monday afternoon (NZ time), its now Thursday morning (NZ time) and I havent heard a word. I can only conclude that they are either 1) flat out, 2) shut shop, 3) very lazy.
Anyone have any clues or is this just standard for MRC? I thought they were meant to be one of the best Audi tuning companies around?
I hope for my mates sake still open as they are working on his car this week...they are incredibly busy most of the time...give them another 24 hours to reply id say and then mail them again if no response
S2 + RS2 yep ive had a few love em... Laser red S2 avant... Brilliant black lhd RS2... Polar silver RS2... RS blau RS2... CheeRS Al
Like a lot of tuning companies they won't answer mails in a timely manor as mails are mainly questions and people who walk through the door or phone will get better service as it's real money.
Sad but true of a lot of companies and I can understand to a degree
I'd give them a call, even if it costs you a few bucks. Some companies struggle to respond to email as Jamo says, especially busy ones!
I dont mind making the phone call but with the UK being 12 hours behind NZ MRC is open while I am sleeping.
I would expect in this day and age to have a reply in 24 hours. I know I get back to my international clients with that time frame.
Just to get an idea of how busy they are i think im right in saying my mate had around a 6 week wait for a slot and that was down to someone else cancelling...only ever heard good or better than good reports about Doug and the guys there. Personally id sacrafice a early alarm call to speak direct if i were in your shoes

Ive only heard good things about them too, hence why I enquired with them
If they are that busy it sounds like they may require more staff

Sadly I have agree with Jamo on this... I run a company that has a .com web site and we get on average 2500 spam email's every week, now we do run our anti spam at its highest level, so some maybe many genuine emails get placed in the spam folder & I don't have enough time to go through the file and sort out the good from the bad..
We do state on our web site that it is better to ring us and then you get a 1-1 service.
Email's are not what they used to be we do get 100's of silly emails from peeps just looking for free advice on stuff they have bought elsewhere or peeps who just send off 1 email to 30 different companies just looking for the best price etc and those I hate to say we just ignore....
It's not easy in this difficult days.. we cant afford the staff to reply to all the emails we get as TBH most are just tyre kickers for example... But if YOU make the effort to phone then you can get a 1-1 service and that means that because you have made the effort we will also make the effort...
I hate to say it but when you run your own firm TIME IS MONEY.... Emails take ages to write especially when its technical where as over the phone it's much easier.

More staff for what though?, they tune cars not answer emails they are so sucessful by word of mouth unfortunately answering emails is not a priority as there are so much spam received plus their market is now based virtually exclusively at the higher end audi guys as they pay big bucks on their projects.
Quattro Corner have the same issue, I found every time I phone I get excellent service but Pete is so busy emails are a lower priority.
I've recenlty got out the habit of emailing companies, easy for us to do nightmare for companies to respond.
My friend has a garage that specialises in Fords, he doesnt need to advertise they have work coming out of their ears!
They too simply do not have the time to sit and trawl through emails similar to the above... ie. ones that are simply after free advice to fix their problems or asking about parts that were not even bought from them!
They know that if people are serious, they will ring up or call in for a chat.
They were even thinking of a pay per minute advice/help line, which is good because they actually get something back from it, but even then you need to have someone able to sit on the phone all day.
i see both sides however if you advertise and email address you should answer it in a timely manner.
props to MRC for being so successful. then obviously are good. maybe try rs246 and a pm. im not sure but i presume the rs4 is the money maker so maybe catch them there?
