    Rolling road diagnostics/tuning

Hi I'm not sure if anyone can help me I'm looking to take my car on a rolling road/plug into a laptop at the same time for diagnosis with some issues the car has at the moment. Ideally with knowledge of the old i5 20v turbo. Does anyone know of anywhere around the South Wales region that does this kind of thing? I'm willing to travel for this so if you know anywhere quite close(ish) within 100 miles of Cardiff please say.

    any ideas welcome

    cheers

    Chris.

You could try calling Tom (audiman) who used to have a mad S2 (legendary)!
      He is based in Yeovil.

i agree best to use a known specialist for diagnosis as it costs.

a forum member or sponsor would be my suggestion.

Ok cool, thanks for the advice. The main problem is under boost 1 bar and above the car seems to stick and judder slightly, it can be driven through but the car seems to chug if you force it through this juddering. It doesn't feel like a miss I've isntalled a new n75 valve, all new spark plugs, boost hoses, maf, diverter valve and pos units. Had an issue with a very noisy tappet recently which I'm inclined to think is the problem, some kind of issue with valve clearance under boost maybe? (not much of a mechanic tbh), although the noise was cured with a flush. The car also has slight issues starting smoothly with revs dipping and rising on startup but stabilising after 10-15 seconds.

            thank again for the help.
