I agree with Sonic, surely you should have beef with the valet parking co. whom allowed your car to be damaged under their care?

Best of luck getting it sorted to your satisfaction.

Won Way UK are dealing with it all for me know, takes all the stress out of it. The car park will be getting a call no doubt.

I would check any small print on Wonway's documents they might have left!

While they chase the other party they (and others I've seen) will provide you a loan car but at a silly daily rate I bet , and if they are unable to claim the hire charges back from the other party they might come after you. Someone I know had a 3 series on loan from a company like this and the hire charge came to £16,000!

                Update on valet park nightmare

Well it's been just over 2 months now and might have a little light ahead. Company called The Motor Insurers Beaureu sent me forms to sign so they can take the garage and the third party divvy to the cleaners, whoop whoop.

Just gotta get things moving on the repair front now, Hopefully have the car back by the end of the month fingers and legs crossed.

Will list a picture board story if poss. ttfn.

Wonway UK are very reputable and friends to boot so no worries on that front.

I had a similar problem once.

Then I put up a web page describing exactly what happened and sent their public relations department the URL.

I had a fax promising settlement within four hours.

Settling cost them thousands. The bad p/r would have cost them millions. Ignore lawyers - suing for product libel (which is their only recourse) involves them demonstrating actual pecuniary loss.

It's orders of magnitude cheaper to settle. But make sure you get ALL the facts right - if you're the slightest bit unsure about anything, leave it out.

??????????????Had an offer today, won't bother posting it just yet because I haven't accepted needless to say it wasn't even close to the value of the car, They are reconsidering things at the moment. keep you all posted over the next week. Hopefully will be able to do a nice picture gallery of the repairs and such.
