Cool. Can't find them on the family album, only 17s listed for an S6 are Boleros.

I'm looking for a wheel manufacturer to use an original 16"x7.5J ET37 S2 alloy to design and manufacture a 17"x8J ET35 version that looks the same but is the perfect size for an S2.

The direct fit mk.2 Avus alloys are off an S6 BTW. 17"x7.5J ET35 IIRC.
Hello there (from across the atlantic) and thanks for the welcome

So i'm not sure the exact offset differences between the ET45 and the ET 37's but is this something that a spacer could compensate for?

Other than offset and 1" diameter is there another difference that Im not seeing. Also i'm not to sure about alluminum wheels but I know around here people commonly take steelies and section in a ring of metal so they can get the width they desire and maintain wheels diameter.

          Cheers,
          Chris

These are the "original" MKI version of the Avus wheel:

            these are the MK2 version

as you can see the first have a much rounder look to them. they are also concave, not convex like the later.

Also I have found that et30 on an 8" rim sits best on my coupe/s2

http://link.marktplaats.nl/364034602 this might be what you are looking for?

edit: hmm maybe they're mk.2's after all, hard to see without center caps from this angle.

I'd love someone to actually find 17" mk1 avus' as personally I think 18s overwheel the S2. Even the avant.

ok ok, I've checked this and yes I'm daft

It was about S6 Avus wheels being 17'' and 8'' wide. That was what special about it but onfortunately mk.2... Would it accept mk.1 center caps to make it look better/different?
