To much power for the cabrio, if has too much bodyflex for big bhp because of the lack of roof and it would handle like cr*p

I remember 'Performance Car' magazine testing Kim Collins 428bhp convertable and even with that power they said they could feel the chassis twisting

No chassis flex with mine at 300bhp with old worn bushes, and suspension. The cab isnt just a coupe with no roof. They did a huge amount of strengthening when they built it. The extra weight isnt just from the hood but from extra metal used for reinforcing the chassis. e.g the bulkhead is double skninned and specific to the cab.
However 600hp in one would be a different story, no reason why extra bracing couldnt be manufactured
The main headache is actually building the bespoke rear end to fit the quattro drivetrain. It isnt just asimple case of chopping the floor pan out of the coupe and fitting it up to the cab.
If i get the time to get my cab back on the road ill be looking at rs2 power so will be able to let you know
            Cheers

              Go FWD only....
We were looking at a 500bhp front wheel drive Volvo T5R at Rolls Royce on Sunday... Although I personally wouldn't like to drive a FWD car with that power, we have hedgerows in Sussex.
