    Original S2

Does anybody know of this S2?

    http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2040464.htm

It looks very tidy and I plan to view it this weekend, but the only thing that concerns me from speaking to the current owner is that it has all original parts..clutch, gearbox, turbo etc which could be costly in the near future!

Presuming mileage is genuine there is no reason to worry(unless they are showing problems on the test drive),ive come across a few s2 on more than 200,000 still on originals and going strong.Sounds like a bargain to me,doubt it will hang around long

Judging by the colour & wheels,I'm 99% certain this was a car I had a look at quite a few years ago, it says its a local car and Im down Glos way.

It must have been about 6 years ago mind so not really relevent today, it was at Lloyd National for about £6-7K,they wouldnt budge on price either back then. Was v tidy back then tho.

I'd check 100% thats Pearl White, could be alpinweiss instead. I've only ever seen one ABY in pearl white and that's Nips Avant

I'm surprised your current car is intact judging by your sig

The seller's name indicates him to be a relation of a chap I used to work with who was Audi mad, guessing brother as the whole family were into their Audis.

This is pearl, it's got that browny/gold tinge to it that you don't get with alpine, as DarrenM says above, it's highly likely that it was the one at Lloyd National about 6 years ago - I was looking at the same time - and that was a pearl ABY coupe.
