Hi David, I don't have one sorry, but have a chat with Goodwood Circuit (after the revival's finished), they do free noise tests. There's been a bit on Pistonheads about it lately.

Reading the thread, it also appears that some of the cheaper db meters might not be reliable enough to get you through a track meter test.

From where do they measure the 100dB? And at what rpm? As I may have to check mine before handing over my hard earned cash for track time.

The Rally Wreck wound out at 107db at Castle Combe a couple of years ago, so I can't imagine your S2 breaching the 100db mark.

lol 1 small back box no cats. with cats it was 89 or 92db i believe from an old test for track time at CC but she's a tad more throaty without

Steel wool was the trick... Pop some of that up the tailpipe for the noise test... First few laps the whole lot will burn off and fall out...
