does the RS4 gearbox bolt up to the motor, or maybe another suitable manual box?

Yes the RS4 box bolts straight on, but I don't think it would last long with that power. Audi put autos in the RS6 cause they couldn't build a Manual strong enough. There's a thread on SRS forum where a guys put a RS6 lump in a RS4 and bolted the box upto it.

Loving the car Amanda and the best colour too if you ask me. I'd love a go in one.
