If you are talking about the rear diff seals where they meet the driveshaft - on ABY Avant they are 8D0-407-309A

Those parts listed above are different oil seals in the rear diff itself.

If you're leaking oil from the rear diff then yes these are what you should replace.

I belive this oil seal is for the propeller shaft flange joint. And those mentioned above are the left and right driveshaft axle seals. Usually one(or both) of these leaking oil...

            Edit.

Ok, seems that the driveshaft flanges also have the same seal as the propeller shaft flange. But usually the seals I mentioned is the ones that leak from the rear diff.

The 8D0 part is a cork-based looking thing - it is between the driveshaft and spigot that attaches to gearbox.

The 016 and 017 parts are different... maybe best to post a pic of where your leak is coming from.

Ummm.... I'm not sure how to put pics up. Basically if looking under the car where the driveshaft goes into the rear diff... It leaks there. On passenger side it is anyway

It's more than likely the seals in the diff casing itself as mine are leaking a wee bit too
