VEMS / Other MAF Delete Pipe

I thought I'd ask if there was a requirement for a MAF delete pipe to run when using VEMS or A N Other aftermaket solution, thus removing the MAF as a restriction in the inlet. This would be a suitable replacement for all stock MAF cars. It could also be used to relocate the MAF to the high pressure side while retaining the stock airbox...

This would be an 80mm OD aluminium pipe to the same length as the OE MAF with a swaged end for the inlet pipe to grip on to and the airbox flange to allow the usual fixing to the outlet.

Not sure on price but I'll make it as simple a design as possible so in I'd hope for ~£40 delivered to be an upper estimate. Afraid it won't have a faux box on top but you can add this to taste if you like...

also most have custom exhausts and the like and dont use factory piping.

    i could be wrong though.

It would be a good item, I would imagine the vems sellers on here would add it to their kits, like a4kquattro and pnanassy

Also it's not limited to VEMS, for guys who move the MAF to the pressure side they would probably be interested as well.

I have a prototype version of one of these now

The production version would be bead blasted so that it can be left natural or painted black, for a stealthier look.

I'll have to get a price for a batch, rather than a 1 off...
