Having put down my deposit on a 1996 ming blue S2 which I will be fetching this week, I would like to know if anyone knows of the exact number of Audi S2s there are registered on the DVLA in the UK.

its not many left now. often you get more from breaking them than selling whole. then theres the crashed/burned/stolen ones.
these cars were built in the era of subaru/mitsu rally. the s2 really wasn't the fashion statement to make. recalling the top gear article the s2 was fast and felt stable but was last choice on looks over the 968 and the m3.
