Andy Speck who runs a Vauxhall Tigra with a C20LET engine beat the uk record last night.
First run after rolling it off the trailer was a 10.1 and the next was a 9.86 @ 148mph !
That car has just got quicker and quicker this year, its running close to 600hp and doesn't use nitrous yet although he did arrive at the pod with the intention to run it with gas today but due to a brake fault he might not bother now.
