Should still be able to weld all the way around the cage if you are doing it yourself. Its better to put a bit of thought into how you can drop the cage down to get access around the top before you start.

My cage cost me 500 to do but i did everything myself apart from the bending on the main hoop and A pillars. I supplied a template for the cage people to copy and it all turned out very well I think. If you are wanting to buy tubing then you need to speak to Elmdon metals.

I did look into the hire of a pipe bender but they're about £90 a day. With the price of the tubing to practice with too, I can see why Hamish went to professionals. And, why I went with the Safety Devices Bolt/weld in cage.
