    Good mechanic

Anyone know of a good mechanic whom I can trust in Milton Keynes area...over the past two days I have had a gut full of A-holes whom are not bothered or too shabby in their approach to customers, to even think about trusting my "baby" with.

Its difficult finding someone who doesn't just dismiss them as 'old cars' i find!! And being a mechanic myself, i'm even harder to please

        Tango,

You'll need to consider becoming a bit of a mechanic with these cars, unless you find a good inexpensive one. A tall order.

It might be worth buying an old cheaper second car to leave the mechanics to drive home in every time you leave in the S2 and need to get home.

Joking aside, others closer to you should have one or two suggestions, but you may need to travel unless you're lucky.

I know none of this post helps one bit, but good luck.

I'd suggest MRC in Banbury. I'm very happy with the work they've done for me. Doug and the guys know the cars very well

This is why it would be ace to get the garage meets back. Then everyone can learn from each other.

                        Gents,

This is now something which should be religiously set out per month. I would definitely be keen to try set something up. Would be great it these days were regional across the country!

No it was a once a year event at a central location, it's not feasible to have one every month
