Is there any insurance available for a sorn'd garaged car?

Don't know what id do if the unthinkable happened!

IIRC you can do it, but it is not much cheaper than "regular" insurance. I had a look for mine, but considering I use the S2 for 7 months then SORN it for 5 months, before using it again, it does not make sense for me.

If you are going for 12 months or more then the discount may make it worth while. You will probably need secure storage too...

I have my car on just such a scheme with Adrian Flux as my car has been off the road for over 2 yearts now.
Still costing over £4oo but this is for a £25k agreed value policy.

I used to have my S2 covered on a "Standing" only policy when it was off the road for 6+ years!!

You need 'laid up cover' -not many comapnies offer this, unfortunately Sky Insurance do not.
