    Badge placement

Probably been on hear already, Wich is the accepted placement for the boot and grill badge? right or left. Or does it depend on wich side the steering wheel is?

I have found at least on the boot it depends on if it´s a ABY or a 3B. On both my 3B,s there has been a small chromed Audi badge on the left, and a "S" badge on the right. On both my ABY,s there has been no chromed Audi badge and the "S" was on the left. Can´t remember about the grill except that on my current ABY its on the right hand side same as boot.

Interesting, seems as though it's up to the owner.

I agree with Le S2 Audi, I got mine at 5 years old and they are passengers side at the rear and drivers side at the front, mine is a 1995 ABY. I think 3B's are different tho???

Well my rear is on the passenger side and the front is on the drivers side so that makes me feel a whole lot better

For right hand drive use the badge placement can be summed up quite easily.

The front badge is on the right so the car you are about to overtake can see there is an S-car coming in their drivers mirror and can prepare themselves accordingly.

The rear badge is on the left to make it easier for the aforementioned driver to see which S-car has just overtaken them.
