sorry mate, but I have to say Audi lost it.
I personally think Audi shouldn't make a new generation Quattro. Best to keep it that way.

Im a staunch Audi enthusiast but they are losing the plot. That is just horrible.Look at the new Rs5 looks no different to a normal s5 and no turbo's.1991 90 quattro 20v sport 450 bhp

I find it funny that Audi constantly refer back to the Quattro and its rally heritage, but they almost seem to pretend that the S2 & RS2 didn't happen.
Scared of their newer models being embarressed by an old timer?

Well that is probably because of the missing sports success of these cars. However I think the RS2 will stand the test of time. Prices hopefully do not fall any further.
Instead of pushing the S2 Audi had the concept of shorter engine compartments and therefore the 5 cylinder was not supported or used in competition. Additionally they went on successfully to rival BMW and Mercedes with the V8 in the DTM and later the A8.Marcel
