    Some more MAD results

I am sure most people on here know of Rod Tarrys Sierra by now.

Its been on the rollers today for a last minute checkover before another rolling road shootout next to Mark Sheads on sunday

    Only 800hp @ 8k

Those are all off gas figures too, should comfortably exceed 1000hp on nitrous really

My mistake, edited now. Its just a rolling road shootout on sunday but the car is due to run soonish so will be good to see if he smashes the current top speed record.

I think he is looking for 210+ maybe 215.

So far I think its 206mph on the old engine.

That is a mad looking dyne plot... Not often you see the
On that kind of scale. Very strange how it flatlined on power from 6k to 8k or thereabouts whilst the torque tails off. Must be bonkers on the road.

Mark Shead it makes boost 1000rpm sooner on the road but you can't replicate that on the rollers

I guess the turbo is "empty" at 800hp so no more HP

They still have a bigger turbo to fit yet, one of the new Borg Warners I believe.

I don't think they are looking for that much but they are without doubt trying to push the boundaries with the YB in terms of a engine thats useable for more than just a quick blat up the 1/4 mile.

I've heard of one more powerful YB that came from the UK, A Jems built YB with something like 1050hp but that wouldn't last for one top speed run lol

As for boost, they are MAD
