Assuming that this is the same MadRod over on Pistonheads with the 800bhp White Cossie that did 200mph on an old Fifth Gear episode, I've seen this thing on the road.

We were blatting across country and I cannot even begin to tell you how quickly this thing was able to build speed. It was truelly insane!

Sadly the gearbox died before he made it to the finish point.

      Yes same Rod !

The car is immense, I'd imagine there aren't many cars that could touch it in a straight line !

That power band is a waste of space, effort and money. Useless.

200mph from a road going 2wd car in just over 20 seconds isn't exactly useless

To be fair, it does appear that way on paper but having followed him on a PH hoon he had no trouble keeping it on the black stuff and he dispatched every car he wanted to, when he wanted to...

              It's bonkers!

Always somebody who jumps on the doubt waggon. It says in the thread it comes on late because they had to do the run in 3rd so it didn't overspeed the dyno therefore it didn't build up much load. On the road its on 1000rpm sooner, and that where it hit full boost on the engine dyno.

That gives it 3k of insane power! The same power range as most diesel cars and lots of people drive them without complaints!
