rs2 diff problems

hi there new to this forum i have a rs2 and when ever i accelerate (lightly) the diff light comes on on the switch in the centre and abs on the dash why is this? thank tom

It sounds like the one way valve under your rear seat is broken mate, it´s split in on one of the vacuum hoses. IIRC it´s the purple one but im not quite shure.

That's the one, black and white valve connected to a purple hose.

The one on the right, it's quite cheap to replace.

hi again is it the box with there pipes and one plug going into it coz i have change that and its no different thats about the only thing under the rear seats

Have a look at this diagram (originally intended to get you the check valve PNs) and tell us what item it is that you think is the problem.

RS2 Rear Diff Lock Electronic Control Module PN

Item 1 in this diagram is item 22 in the vacuum line diagram (with check valve PN) below. Very common part back to the Audi 200 up to the last S2s including the CQs and UrS4s.

right have changed the one way valve and the diff is still coming on ?

Did you mount in the right direction? If it's wrong you get the same error...

i think so the same as the one i took off the white half next to the rubber t piece could it be any thing else?

try the other way round

tried it the other way round no different? still comes on
