You can change the style the forum displays by selecting your preferred style at the bottom left of the site.

hi i currently own a 2002 vw golf gttdi 150bhp remmapped to 190bhp , my work place is 3 miles away ,
i would like an s2 but just thinking of the economy aswell ,

Did I see the word economy in that post? Sorry to laugh but S2 and economy don't really go together. Would advise getting one though they are fantastic motors, can't beat that straight five sound.Good luck on your search, careful not to end up with one that needs lots of work they aren't cheap to keep in good nick.
Eco can be good on long journeys though, even more if your cursing on motorways at the speedlimit. You can average 28mpg on a ring trip for example which makes it very appealing.
i live nearly four miles from work, using my S2 (decat & chipped) i've just got 190 miles to a full tank. Its a second car but usually bike to work but likewise these are not bought for mpg.
