Avant light cluster conversion

Has anyone ever tried chopping a middle light cluster from the rear of a saloon into the tailgate of an avant by cutting into the plastic????

Can it be done?

On an S2 its a bolt on job, only modification needed is to trim the boot release handle and adjust the mechanism. Have a search for the thread on Dests blue avant as i believe he was one of the first to do it.

get a a6 c4 avant handle and it is done...

No because the b3 has no handle cutout. Also the s4 handle sticks out further.

i never said anything about the S4 (audi 100), but i was talking about the a6 c4 avant, it has a different handle than the audi 100.

I thought the 100 and A6 C4 are the same?

I said S4 as they are red like the RS2 ones.

yes the handles are different between audi 100 c4 and a6 c4.
