A new 10-episod TV-show started here in Finland where Mika Salo testdrives tuned and modified cars. The consummation is so so and shitchat is lame and "slow", but the consept is quite fresh and interesting. The are also many different brand and "style" cars... And the funny part is that they all are private persons cars.

With car modification being so big, I can't believe there is no current programme on tv over here focused on modification, from mild to extreme.
I think it would have a massive following if done properly

6th season here in Finland starts soon, it have been very popular, at least on all Finish car forums. Only a handfull of car owners have beaten Salo on track.
