sort of,ime usually all they can provide is pretty sketchy info such as when/where it was serviced but doesnt always say what work was carried out.Last time I enquired about a car(an '03 s3 where all the service book etc had been lost) they said they would send all the info they had to me(which wasnt much),im still waiting
Worth a go though, but best to get the vin number aswell because if the cars had a plate change it seems to make the job a lot harder -
No longer!
Audi used to provide a tel no, but they have dropped this as a service. If you are friendly with your local dealership they will give you the info they hold on their systems. I occaisionally use Audi Camberley, so they were really helpful.Comment

Service history used to be held on a ssytem called dialog, it is pretty basic in what info it holds it would tell you the date and mileage and also what type of service was carried out along with any recalls and warranty work. it would also show the dealer that did the work. if the car had come in for other work like 4 wheel alignment then this would not be put on the system. So if the car needed warranty work it would go on to dialog, likewise a service then audi could see if the car was still in warranty and had been serviced when the car needed to be.
Not sure if it still applies now but dialog was used by the parts dept and sales dept, i ordered many many cars when i worked for them using this system.Comment

Not many places or departments still use dialog. it was superceded by NVS over the last couple of years. It seems they haven't transferred the information over onto the new system though as last time I asked for a vehicle check it came back with next to no details.
