Only 1 other I know was built by VW Vortec in the states about 4 -6yrs ago, and no VW didn't make them from factory, should have done though, 2 door saloons rock.

so the I heard that story.. there was picture in local papers and on some web site..
horible crash was that.. if I remember well it was in september 2010.

I've always wanted a 2 door bora! They grafted a 3 door golf rear quarter in to get the windows right, plus they can use all the standard interior if they use the internal parts too. A hell of a lot of work but looks amazing. The only other I've seen is the light blue American one.
