    Wheel Stud Conversion - Golf 2 16v

After 16 M12x1.5 50mm long studs and both radius and taper seat nuts. Anyone know of a good place to get them, other than the obvious Demon Tweeks for £££.

    TIA

Hi rusty, I have no idea about doing this conversion, but I just bought wheel studs last week for my transit at 76pence each from the ford dealer. The ones I got are for a mk6 twin rear wheel recovery truck but I understand the single wheel and front wheel studs are different, so possibly they will have the stud that you need if you search around?

The base of the stud had a spline on it, pushed the studs in from the back of the hub then pulled them in tight with a wheel nut on them. Still have a couple of old ones that I could send you to have a look at. or even just take a pic of.

Try Kinky Micks Wheel Shack. Used him to do the conversion to Porsche wheel son my beetle. Sent through the studs and nuts all at the correct length and didnt cost a bomb either and very helpful and knowledgeable.
