I know what's happening.

The main page takes the time the thread was last updated and the last poster and displays that as:

[Time]
By [User]

Now, normally that'd be the same, so it works fine. However, if the thread has a poll, that updates the thread and thus its last update time, without actually adding a post.

The homepage should be taking the date from the last post, not from the thread itself; or it needs to display it in a way that shows the last action was a poll vote.

If someone votes on the Poll it goes BTTT and shows the last post time as the time someone voted. Took me a while to work that out the first time I saw it...

I would opt to have that changed so polls dont BTTT at all.

I find it a bit annoying when dead threads suddenly apper in the list again.
Not sure if it's possible though.
