convert a 20 valve coupe quattro to a 3b s2

hi,was looking for some info on converting a 1990 20 valve coupe quattro to a 3b audi s2. does all the wiring lume have to be changed,and what else is involved in transferring my 3b to the 20 valve coupe???

engine & engine loom plus a few other bits, pretty straight forward swap. All the other bits that make it an S2 is a lot more work really. Having done everything myself except the engine swap yet, I'd say just sell it and buy an S2 unless you are really attached to the car

i have a damaged s2 thats beyond repair but no problem with running gear,and i can buy a 20 valve coupe quattro cheap!!

Yes as said just the engine loom And engine everything else is there, you can swap the White dials and all the other s2 styling bits in an afternoon I think you can even just swap the 5 stud hubs onto your legs

yeah if you have an S2 in bits there it is all just bolt on stuff, you could do it all in a weekend barring any major problems

very well if you use a 3b system,i think the aby floorpan is slightly different shaped around the cat area although you ought to delete those as your car wont need them for a 'proper' mot

yup defo, i think you will struggle to fit 3B cats anyway due to the tunnel being narrower
