    Garage floor paint

I'm going to paint my garage floor soon, want to prevent dust and also tidy the place up. I can also then mop up the spills etc more easily

I've had some advice to seal the concrete with watered down PVA to seal it first - then 2-3 coats of paint...any got any advice?

The PVA trick is a very good idea
Spend the extra few quid and get a 2pak paint lasts much, much longer.

Have been meaning to do this for the last 4 years

How about tiling it? Lasts much longer, I ve been thinking of doing that in my garage.

My mate fitted the rubber tiles to his garage and put the sealing coating on they recommended and he can't wait for the sealant to stop flaking of. It's warm in there I give it that but thats about it.

I've tried various paints in my workshop over the years with a yearly recoat. But it takes a lot of abuse and looks pants quickly, this time round I'm sanding it down to get rid of high spots and coating it with this HD industrial stuff which they said can go over the existing surface finish. http://www.rustoleum-mathys.co.uk/pr...Pegakote_id400 They did recommend a higher build one that they use in the catering industry that finishes as if if one large ceramic tile but I couldn't warrant £300 for such a small space without knowing it was going to work for my application.

Will let you know how the pegakote goes. Will take a before pic as it is, then sanded down, then coated, then in two weeks when back from the US when it is fully cured (although 2 pack they recommend 7 days before heavy use).
