Tis a nice car... Even back with my s2 i used to think pay that much for an rs2 must be mad.

But it dun half make me think about a time when pearl white used to cool..

Yes this is my car. I have owned it for 7 years but since moving to Basingstoke it has had to live outside. I only have a single car garage and my Integrale is far more valuable than the RS2 so the audi has to stay outside.
It wasn't getting used very much, that with the bad weather we seem to be getting most winters now, it was starting to take its toll on the bodywork. Rather than see it corrode away & having to spend large amounts of money in the near future on bodywork & brakes i thought it best to sell it while its still looking good.
Nick Johnson offered me a very good deal for it against a very low milage RS4 that i could not resist. The RS4 is a fantastic car, faster, more comfortable, more refined but for all its good points it doesn't feel anything like as special to drive. That said i still feel it was the right thing to do, to give someone else the chance to give this rare car the respect & care it needs for the future as it will only increase in value if looked after.

Nick said he was taking it to the "Edition 38" show at Northampton today. He asked me to go with him taking my RS4 along with some other customers of his with RS Audi's to make an "RS display". To much to do at home this weekend so i couldn't make it. Would have been nice to see the old RS2 again. It might have felt strange though having to following it rather than driving it!!

It really was a sad day for me parting with it, after owning it for so long.
