    Advice for plasma's dials.

Hello All, Can someone on here give a bit of advice, i have fitted the dials and vdo set and wired them up but when the engine and lights are off the are still on where is the best place to attach the red and black wires too and the four plugs that are on the back of the vdo dials i can't find out where to attach them too. Please help me.

I took a feed from the lights for the heater dials.

Just crack open the heater control panel (pull out all 3 dials and then pop out the panel itself with a screwdriver).

There's then a few wires that run to small bulbs in that compartment to light up the heater dials.

I just cut a pair of those and forked it off for power to the plasmas. The plasmas aren't high load so you don't need to be too fussy about it.

That way they also dim when you dim your display bulbs.

I didnt bother cutting anything, i just stuck the cables in to the back of the bulb holsters and they stayed in. Worked a treat.

Have you tried swapping the wires round that you put in the back of the heater lights? Plasmas are like LEDs, the polarity must be correct.
