    RS2 lower door mouldings ouch!!

    Fronts, £124.80p each.
    Rear, £108.83p
    Rear, £103.58p

These prices were taken end of April.

Not sure why rears differ in price

Oh yeah VAT needs to be added to those prices.

Even with discount, still very pricey for what they are, and then paint!!

    Time for some of these.

Did I get some? What do you think?

I am sure it had one or two when I had it. front one. Deffo did!
    Have you damaged it?

    Rears are smaller so cheaper.

Check the new ones. I had six sent to get one good one. For that price I was not about to start straightening them out!

Hi Rob, no damage, she's still treading water in garage
Took on one to many job's this winter with her.
Should be on road start of June.

I recall you saying that these trims will be NLA soon enough so thought better take it on chin and get some.
If I never use them, they'll be handy for someone else in years to come.

I'll check to make sure there straight

Saw your Otley mate in RS2 yesterday, 1st one I've seen in about 5 years RARE as fook I love it

hmmm, got to wonder why the price in increasing for an existing no longer built model, very strange unless cost of stock control/storage has increased but seems a bit far fetched to me.

Bought front and rear last year and they cost me just over £200 for one side! Also just checked on ETKA and it no longer quotes a price.

The problem I found with the door strips is that the metal inside corrodes and I have now got into the habit of removing them once a year and re-greasing them to prevent any corrosion.

If no one local steps up I'll loan mine out to a responsible party. Would there be any possible chance of damaging the originals during the molding/copying process?
                      Cheers mis amigos,

None I'm in the process of doing this another member has kindly offerred to lend me some trims for moulding, sort out mass production is another matter i'm facing post this as it has to be seen if the price will be cheaper than the original.

Still at some point I'm going to have to bite the bullet and pay for new ones

I am also happy to lend out front and rear nearside to a responsible party who wants to take a mould. I can't imagine these being very cheap to reproduce, but this is not my field really.

Well just picked these up from audi.
As Rob mentioned check the mouldings to see there straight.
One was bent like a boomerang, which Audi had replaced straight away.
Begs the question, why would anybody send out from warehouse when it was so badly damaged. I saw how bad with my own eyes
So we checked all four, and found one rear one to be a bit wavy so that ones getting replaced.
guess 3 out of 4 aint bad
