Bit of help needed please.

Just replaced the heater matrix on the S2 - started the car several times and it drove just fine. Came to start the car this morning and it turns over fine but won't start! I think the immobiliser may be kicking in, it arms etc just fine it just won't fire! At first the dash light came on when I turned the key but after several attempts there are no dash lights. I have pumped the pedal and I cannot smell fuel either and I can't here it when I turn the key.
I have a clifford concept 50 alarm, I am wondering if I have upset it somehow. What do you guys think?

Have you disturbed the wiring for the crank positioning sensor or speed sensor which connect at the bulk head next to the bolts to release the heater matrix? I think this is how mine ended up not starting after heater matrix change.

I am not sure that would explain having no dash lights and I has started and driven the car half a dozen times. I think it is the immobilizer kicking in so an auto electrician is coming to test it and remove it if needs be tomorrow so fingers crossed. If nothing else he should be able to diagnose the problem.
